The most striking proof that the Arab anti-Israel cause is a common meeting ground for both Nazis and Communists –and that the Arabs welcomed supporters of both ilks– lies in the friendship of Carlos, the notorious master terrorist who served the PLO, with Francois Genoud, an old Nazi, one of the leading Nazis in pre-War Switzerland, later a financier who provided funds for Habash’s faction of the PLO…
If we add the Carlos-Genoud story to our knowledge that many German Nazi veterans, including war criminals, found refuge in Arab countries, particularly Egypt and Syria, we should have enough evidence to demonstrate that veteran Nazis see the Arab cause as a continuation of their own endeavors, as well as an ex post facto vindication or justification for them. We might paraphrase Clausewitz and call it a continuation of the Holocaust by other hands. Continue reading
A new Bosnian Neo-Nazi group, the Bosanski Pokret Nacionalnog Ponosa (Bosnian National Pride Movement), is increasingly championing anti-Semitism in the country. Ninety-five percent of its members are Muslim. Continue reading
Arthur Derounian who wrote under the pen name, John Roy Carlson, was an Armenian-American investigative journalist and best-selling author. He became famous for his undercover reporting on the subversive activities of Nazis and Communists in the United States.
In 1948, he traveled by way of England to Egypt where he was granted permission to accompany the Arabs forces as they set off to fight the Jews in the Holy Land, in Palestine. His coverage of the war later became a memoir, Cairo to Damascus. It is a vivid, sometimes thrilling account of his experience that delves deeply into what the Arab world was like at the time and the nature of the Muslim dispute with the Jewish people and the active support Britain was giving to the Arabs to crush the Jews. It covers everything from the Muslim Brotherhood, Arab Nazi Haj Amin Al Husseini (whom he meets), ancient Cairo ghettos and Arab feudalism, British – Nazi – Arab collusion and even the prevalence Arab homosexuality and transgenderism. It’s quite the wild, riveting, mind-blowing read from an informed observer who is neither Jewish nor Arab, yet writes with compassion and understanding for both and a keen grasp of the historical and political context surrounding the conflict.
In a footnote on page 235 (copied below) Carlson addresses the “flight” of the Arab refugees, describing who they were, the real reasons they fled, and their number which, even then, he says, for the purposes of propaganda, was hugely inflated. Continue reading
On Mar. 19, 1942, the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem spoke to the Arab world by Rome radio and said: “If, God forbid, America and her allies are victorious in this war . . . then the world will become hell, God forbid. But Allah is too just and merciful to grant such murderous violators any victory.”
After a long struggle and supreme sacrifices, the “murderous violators” became victors. They entered Germany while the ex-Mufti was still there with the bags of gold he had received from Hitler.
On Dec. 29, 1942 the ex-Mufti sent a telegram of congratulations to Emperor Hirohito, assuring the latter that the Arabs were “praying for the final victory of Japanese arms.” By the end of 1943 the ex-Mufti had organized Bosnian “Black Legions” to fight the Allies.
He also bears a heavy responsibility for the annihilation of European Jewry, according to Nazi testimony given at Nuremberg. He visited the gas chambers; he wrote to the Cabinet Ministers of Hungary and Romania asking them to send the Jews from their countries to the concentration camps in Poland.
Thus according to the Charter of the International Tribunal at Nuremberg, the ex-Mufti is a criminal on all three counts, for crimes against peace, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.
If the ex-Mufti is not only not brought to Nuremberg, but is permitted to continue his murderous career, then we will do well to reflect once more upon his words quoted at the beginning of this article. Did not the world really become hell? Continue reading
”Jews are garbage,” Alois Brunner said last month when he was interviewed by reporters who found him living in Damascus… As a senior aide to Adolf Eichmann, he sent more than 80,000 of them to the gas chambers during World War II. Following the war, there was a relatively small demand for his sort of expertise–except in the Arab world. Since 1961, Brunner has been a ”security adviser” to the Syrian government. The Brunner case calls attention to the persistent affinity of Arab leaders for Nazi doctrines, rhetoric and tactics. Haj Amin el Husseini, one-time leader of Palestinian nationalism and Yasser Arafat`s mentor, spent World War II in Berlin promoting Hitler`s Jewish policy…
…the Palestine Liberation Organization has trained German neo-Nazis in its Middle East camps, a fact disclosed by one of the trainees, Karl Heinz Hoffman. Indeed, a self-proclaimed British neo-Nazi was one of the PLO gunmen who killed three Israeli tourists in Cyprus in September…
In this environment, the logical consequence of unconstrained and unlimited hatred of the Jews, – or of any similar group, – was their total loss of rights and physical annihilation. Wildt identifies the correlation between a policy that branded the Jews as the national enemy and the removal of legal and moral boundaries, which the protection of the law had assured. He explained the nature of the total, genocidal antisemitism which Leers and others propagated, particularly in the Arab world. Continue reading
… [A] CIA report of October 24, 1957 described the effects of Leers’ conversion to Islam..
“Part of Leers’ political attitude is apparently due to his conversion to Islam, which was accompanied by a change in his name to Dr. Omar Amin von Leers. He is becoming more and more a religious zealot, even to the extent of advocating an expansion of Islam in Europe in order to bring about stronger unity through a common religion. This expansion he believes can come not only from contact with the Arabs in the Near East and Africa but with Islamic elements in the USSR. The results he envisions as the formation of a political bloc against which neither East nor West could prevail.” […]
Some of his major ideas which, at the time, seemed beyond belief include: spreading political antisemitism and anti-Zionism to the Third World and bringing about the Islamization of Europe by encouraging mass migration in order to change its demographics and to undermine its Christian traditions and culture. The tactical advantage this narrative provided was significant. The victims of Nazi genocide, tiny, remnant populations of Serbs and Jews, would henceforth be recast as militaristic perpetrators of ethnic cleansing against Muslims. Once established, Serbs and Jews could do no right, irrespective of the deadly peril they faced. Each and every military response they took in defense of their national security and civilian populations would be branded as fascist aggression and condemned. Henceforth, each and every attack upon them—no matter how heinous and horrific— was not just discounted, but excused, even commended as justified retaliation.
Henceforth, as Hitler’s loyal bodyguard announced, “only muslims are slaughtered.” Continue reading
20 years ago today, U.S. President Bill Clinton, using the power of his office, went to war against the Serbian people; he attacked a tiny European nation that had been America’s ally in both World War I and World War II. The Serbian people were in bewildered, horrified disbelief. Even today, they cannot fathom why … Continue reading
