In the summer of 2015, retired Canadian Armed Forces Major Oksana Kuzyshyn was handed a unique assignment for a Ukrainian-Canadian: a 60-day stint in Ukraine helping the AZOV Battalion to acquire the necessary skills required to operate effectively with NATO forces, based on international NATO standards. Her duties including instructing the officers on NATO army operations: lectures included tactics, staff organization, logistics, communications, procedures, air support and basic military skills. Today, Azov leaders openly acknowledge that were it not for the U.S.-backed coup that unfolded in Kiev’s Maidan Square in 2014, their organization would never have developed into the powerhouse it is. As Semanyaka said this year, according to a summary:

In his book, Burns says over and over that Russians of all ideological stripes—not just Putin—loathed and feared NATO expansion. He quotes a memo he wrote while serving as counselor for political affairs at the US embassy in Moscow in 1995. ‘Hostility to early NATO expansion,” it declares, “is almost universally felt across the domestic political spectrum here.”

One noted member of the fascist group who refers to itself as the Zhidobanderites, Sergai Dybynyn, was photographed at the Capitol with the man known as Jacob Anthony Chansley (see above).
