For only “pennies a day,” any greenhouse owner can produce CO2 to help increase plant yields in their greenhouses. That’s the message on CO2 generators sold by greenhouse supply companies across the United States and Canada.
“1,500 ppm [of carbon dioxide] can be achieved… these generators automatically provide the carbon dioxide needed to meet maximum growing potential for only pennies a day,” the ad says.

Under a new law all big purchases will have to be made electronically, either through a mobile payment app or via a wire transfer at a bank.
And for now, at least, that will come with a steep fee: Banks charge between 1.5 and 3 percent for the transactions.
The law also prohibits local and central government bodies from making or taking any payments in cash. Some institutions like hospitals, universities, and notaries will go completely cashless. Pensions and salaries will have to be paid via banks – even pawnshop loans, as well. And transactions made illicitly in cash can be annulled. Continue reading
Charles Darwin is very well-known for writing the “Origin of Species” in the 1800’s. This book gave rise to evolutionary theory. What people don’t know is that there was actually a longer, original title to this book, and that was “On the Origin of Species By Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.”Now, copies and editions that they made afterwards eliminated that phrase about the “favoured races”.

In 1988, a lawyer named Thomas Donilon advised Sen. Joseph Biden’s presidential bid and then served as senior counsel on President Bill Clinton’s 1992 transition team. Donilon became Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs and participated in the expansion of NATO and relations between the U.S. and China.
From 1995 to 2005, Donilon served as chief lobbyist of the Federal National Mortgage Association, better known as Fannie Mae. As CNN reported, Donilon left the government-sponsored enterprise before it imploded and “was forced to pay $400 million to the federal government for misstated earnings during his time there.” Donilon also attempted to interfere with an audit by the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight and tried to launch a separate investigation into the OFHEO itself.
