A former A.P. reporter gives an insider’s guide on how foreign correspondents are instructed to report on Israel, explaining the extreme, perversely skewed, disproportionate scrutiny it receives, as compared to the rest of the world. As this reporter notes, Staffing is the best measure of the importance of a story to a particular news organization. When I was a correspondent at the AP, … Continue reading →
The video dispels certain myths concerning the origin of the name ‘Palestine’ and of the ‘Arab Palestinians.’ It documents that the ‘Arab Palestinians’ are in fact mostly from other places, and migrated to what is now Israel at the same time as the Zionist Jews, many of them because of the economic boom that the Zionist Jews produced in what was then British Mandate Palestine. The Zionist Jews did not steal the “best” land from Arab landowners but in fact purchased abandoned desert and swamp land from absentee Arab landlords who were quite eager to sell. Here, with both hands, she warmly takes hold of Tymoshenko’s for whom she goes to special lengths to defend in an Op-ed she wrote for the New York Times: The Obama Administration … Continue reading →
With the Holocaust Museum as a powerful backdrop and President Clinton waiting in the wings, a new narrative was being devised and assiduously propagated. Muslims were introduced to the world stage as the new persecuted Jews of Europe, helpless victims of racist persecution, tragically bereft of international support, facing certain annihilation at the hands of the Serbs, in desperate need of Western rescue in the form of military intervention.
