“In 1941, after Adolf Hitler created a Greater Albania, Kosovar Albanian Muslim political leader Dzafer Deva from Kosovska Mitrovica declared: “The freedom has come. Yugoslavia is no more. The Greater Albania has been created. Serbs ought to be expelled from the Balkans or killed.” The Kosovo crisis was always about separatism and secession.

From 1981 to 1989, an estimated 20,000 Kosovo Serbs were driven out from Kosovo. Many were settled in refugee camps in Belgrade. Kaludjerica, near Belgrade, was a town settled by Serbian refugees from Kosovo in the 1980s. Kosovo Serbs were murdered, raped, beaten, attacked, and terrorized to leave their homes and property in Kosovo. Serbian churches, gravestones, cemeteries, and religious and cultural and historical monuments were vandalized, desecrated, and destroyed. Serbian priests and nuns were attacked, beaten, and abused. Why was this systematic, planned, and organized campaign of genocide against the Serbian Orthodox Christian population of Kosovo suppressed and censored in the US and the West?”

“Based on DNA evidence at the scene in Livadice, it was determined that one of the potential culprits was Florim Ejupi. I asked that he and three other former KLA members be taken to UN detention where the investigation would continue. However, they were transferred to US camp Bondsteel, into the supposedly safest place in Kosovo, from where the Ejupi escaped,” said Karphamar.

“Part of Leers’ political attitude is apparently due to his conversion to Islam, which was accompanied by a change in his name to Dr. Omar Amin von Leers. He is becoming more and more a religious zealot, even to the extent of advocating an expansion of Islam in Europe in order to bring about stronger unity through a common religion. This expansion he believes can come not only from contact with the Arabs in the Near East and Africa but with Islamic elements in the USSR. The results he envisions as the formation of a political bloc against which neither East nor West could prevail.” […]

Some of his major ideas which, at the time, seemed beyond belief include: spreading political antisemitism and anti-Zionism to the Third World and bringing about the Islamization of Europe by encouraging mass migration in order to change its demographics and to undermine its Christian traditions and culture. The tactical advantage this narrative provided was significant. The victims of Nazi genocide, tiny, remnant populations of Serbs and Jews, would henceforth be recast as militaristic perpetrators of ethnic cleansing against Muslims. Once established, Serbs and Jews could do no right, irrespective of the deadly peril they faced. Each and every military response they took in defense of their national security and civilian populations would be branded as fascist aggression and condemned. Henceforth, each and every attack upon them—no matter how heinous and horrific— was not just discounted, but excused, even commended as justified retaliation.

“[T]his is the confession of Italian general Mauro Del Vecchio in an interview he gave in February 2014 to the magazine “Panorama”. The general was in command of 7000 Italian troops that entered Kosovo and Metohija in June 1999. He said that reports from his soldiers arrived every morning on his desk, notifying of dead bodies of Serbs and Roma, but he was not allowed to speak about this. He added that those non-Albanians who had not fled Kosovo were under permanent threat of being raped or killed. He spoke of houses being destroyed and churches and monasteries being mobbed by gangs of Albanians. The general said, “Their goal was to erase every trace of the Serbian presence in Kosovo.” ”

“Ours was the greatest rescue of American lives from behind enemy lines in history…

If there was one bed or one blanket, it went to us while the Serb slept on the bare ground. No risk of sacrifice was too great to insure our safety and well being. One experience which is forever seared in my memory is the time a village with 200 women and children was burned to the ground by the Germans because the Serbs would not tell them where they were hiding us. To this day, I can smell the terrible stench of their burning flesh. One does not forget such things…

Could our career diplomats sacrifice former friends and reward former enemies in the name of political expediency? Could it be because in the world community there are over one billion Muslims and only 9 million Serbian Orthodox Christians with the same proportionate power in the global economy? Could it be because the Serbs have no oil wells and no unlimited oil money? […]

Could these be the reasons the State Department has covered up the truth of our rescue all these years and opposed our petition to express gratitude for saving over 500 American lives (a petition which is supported by the 8 million veterans of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Air Force Association and which has been approved by the United States Senate.)?

Could it be these are the reasons the Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee has also denied our petition…?
