Berlin May 13 [1926] – The Jewish population of Germany would have been segregated in concentration camps and its property confiscated if the monarchists would have succeeded in their plans.

Revelations of the Nationalist program of a monarchist plot for the peaceful capture of the government the forced resignation of President Hindenburg and the setting up of a Fascist dictatorship were unearthed by the police of Berlin in a series of raids on the homes and offices of monarchistic and industrial leaders…

 It was revealed that the plotters were in contact with ex-Kaiser Wilhelm.

Among the documents was found the text of a constitution for the monarchistic government according to which a dictatorship was to be declared, the property of all Jews resident in Germany was to be confiscated and any one who concealed the confiscated property of Jews was to be punished by death.

The concentration camps in which millions of Jews were murdered have been long associated with the Nazis, yet, as this article clearly reveals, the plot to round up the Jews of Germany, intern them in camps, and rob them of their property  predates Hitler’s reign by many years.   In fact, it appears the scheme to force Jews into concentration camps and establish a Fascist dictatorship has its origins in the ambitions of German royal family, a family which currently holds the throne in the United Kingdom, its identity obscured by having been successfully rebranded the House of Windsor. This little known name change followed the public relations debacle of World War I during which the British people found themselves being bombed by planes named after the royal family: Most unpleasant. 

The decision to adopt Windsor as the family name came amid strong anti-German feeling during the first world war. But the turning point was public anger at air raids over London, and in particular the bombing of a school in the East End.

On 13 June 1917, the Germans began daylight raids on Britain and in one of the first attacks 18 children were killed when a bomb fell directly onto Upper North Street School in Poplar. German Gotha bombers carried out the strike – by coincidence, the same name as the royal family.

News of the proposed name change first appeared in the Manchester Guardian in mid-June 1917.

Germany’s royals may have lost the war, but retained the throne in the United Kingdom.  A name change, was clearly a small price to pay.  Meanwhile, other efforts were afoot that would include the imprisonment of the Jews, and the looting of their property– more than a decade before the start of World War II.

Later, it would emerge that members of the “House of Windsor” would show an embarrassing affection for Hitler and his Nazi regime.

This was learned today when the putsch of the monarchists was discovered and a number of leaders arrested.

Among the many prominent names mentioned in connection with the plot. the most outstanding are those of Dr. Alired Hugenberg, wealthiest and most powerful German newspaper publisher. and Judge Glass head of the Pan-German League. Judge Glass was the organizer and Dr. Hugenberg the executive force behind the subterranean campaign for the establishment of an ultra-Fascist dictatorship in the Reich.

At Essen, Bonn and various other Westphalian and Rhenish cities, the residences of Dr. Voegler, head of the recently organized German steel trust: Emil Kirdorf. a veteran coal and iron magnate; Chairman Winkhaus of the Mine Operators’ Association and other big industrialists were raided this morning by detectives. A considerable quantity of documents throwing significant light on the plans for financing the conspiracy were seized and sent to Berlin. It was revealed that the plotters were in contact with ex-Kaiser Wilhelm.
