Serbian negotiator Marko Djuric was arrested by Albanians with machine guns, body armour, and black masks for attending a peaceful meeting in the Serbian province of Kosovo. His arrest followed the violent raid of a meeting of Serbian civilians. The Albanian militia fired tear gas and stun grenades, ransacked the hall and damaged video cameras recording equipment.
The Albanian regime had banned Djuric, and 4 other Serbian officials from entering the Serbian province. After his arrest, Djuric was expelled from the Serbian province.
